I am from Wicklow and have been working in archaeology for almost fifteen years. Since receiving a BA in Archaeology and Sociology from UCD in 1999, I have been continuously working in the field on road schemes, private developments and watermain rehabilitation projects.
I have a great local knowledge of the local area having completed numerous archaeological excavations and archaeological assessments in Wicklow. Also I am a founding member of The Preban Graveyard Committee who cleaned up an overgrown early medieval graveyard and recieved LEADER funding to complete an archaeological survey of the site which resulted in an exhibition during Heritage Week 2013. Our journey was documented in a two part documentary -'The Story of Preban Graveyard'.
